🛡️ FTF Performance Enhancement & Therapeutic Optimization Policy

I. General Policy

Fight the Fight (FTF) is committed to creating a fair, competitive, and medically responsible environment for all fighters. As a baseline, all performance-enhancing drugs (PEDs) are prohibited unless expressly approved under this policy.

II. Permissible Therapeutic Substances

FTF recognizes that some compounds classified broadly as PEDs may serve therapeutic or protective functions when used under medical supervision. The following substances are currently permitted, subject to documentation:

✅ Approved Substances

  1. TRT (Testosterone Replacement Therapy)

    • Permitted for athletes with medically diagnosed low testosterone (e.g., T-levels under 800 ng/dL)

    • Requires physician note and proof of lab values

    • Capped at 800 ng/dL serum total testosterone

    • Injections must be supervised or verified via physician records

  1. Sermorelin Acetate

    • Permitted as a natural growth hormone secretagogue

    • Must be used for therapeutic optimization, not enhancement

    • No stacking with exogenous HGH or IGF-1 permitted

  1. Ipamorelin

    • Permitted in combination with Sermorelin or as a standalone peptide

    • Subject to dosage guidelines and insurance review if needed

    • Intended for safe metabolic and recovery support, not supraphysiologic muscle gain

III. Prohibited Substances

All other PEDs—including but not limited to anabolic steroids, synthetic HGH, clenbuterol, insulin, stimulants, and SARMs—are strictly prohibited, unless reviewed and approved on a case-by-case basis following submission of:

  • Medical necessity documentation

  • Peer-reviewed evidence supporting safety and non-enhancement use

  • Insurance or regulatory opinion (if applicable)

IV. Future Compound Review Process

FTF welcomes proposals from athletes, medical professionals, and insurance stakeholders to expand the list of permissible therapeutic compounds that are:

  • Non-toxic, non-rebound-inducing, and non-suppressive

  • Used for optimization, not enhancement

  • Backed by emerging science in anti-aging, recovery, and inflammation reduction

Fighters, coaches, and providers are encouraged to submit peptides or compound proposals to FTF’s Medical Review Committee for scientific and ethical evaluation.

V. Testing and Verification

  • FTF reserves the right to conduct random or suspicion-based testing.

  • Fighters on approved therapies may be required to submit lab results or medication logs.

  • Failure to disclose use or exceeding approved thresholds may result in suspension or disqualification from future events.

VI. Policy Objectives

FTF’s PED policy exists to:

  • Maintain competitive integrity

  • Promote long-term fighter health

  • Ensure insurance eligibility

  • Enable progressive, science-backed evolution of allowed treatments

This policy is designed not only to enforce limits, but to foster innovation and educate athletes and governing bodies on how modern tools can protect fighters without compromising the spirit of competition.
